Turn the Scale On or Off

With the scale "On", the scale is set to always rate a mail piece that is placed on the weighing platform. With the scale "Off," you will need to select the Weigh/Rate button to turn the scale on, to rate a mail piece.

1. From the Home screen select Mail.
2. Select Clear (back arrow) until the Select an Account, Class, and Scale options display.
3. Select Scale.
4. Select Turn Scale On (if scale is currently set to off) or Turn Scale Off (if scale is currently set to on). You are returned to the Mail screen.
