Adding a Graphic Ad

  1. As soon as you open the Graphic Ad screen, a series of markers appears at the top of the screen.
  1. The number of markers that appear depend on the size of the envelope or tape.
  2. The markers are grouped as left justified (left edge of the envelope) or right justified (next to the indicia). The markers define the locations for the Graphic Ads.

  3. To select a Graphic Ad, choose the marker, then select the Graphic Ad from the list (a checkmark appears in the checkbox).

NOTE: If the zone is empty, by default the right justified marker next to the indicia is automatically selected and the first Graphic Ad will appear in this location.

  4. Select OK to place the Graphic Ad on the envelope.
  5. NOTE: To remove the Graphic Ad, simply select it again so that the checkmark is removed from the checkbox.

  6. You can add up to 4 Graphic Ads: 2 will be right justified and two will be left justified.
  1. If you try to add a Graphic Ad and there is not enough room, the system will display a message telling you to either remove an existing Graphic Ad or change the size of the envelope.
  2. To change the horizontal position of Graphic Ads, Text Messages and Return Addresses, refer to Positioning a Graphic Ad/Text Message/Return Address
  3. If during a mail run an envelope has the maximum number of Envelope Messaging elements it can accommodate and the size of the envelope decreases (for example during a WOW job), the Graphic Ads and/or Text Messages and/or Return Addresses will be dropped in a specific sequence. Refer to How Markers are Added/Deleted for the order in which the items are dropped.
