Possible Errors When Running Mail
- If the system detects a condition for example "Low Postal Ink", that allows you to continue processing a job, you can clear the message and continue to process the mail. The system will also provide instructions on how to correct the warning, for example, how to replace the postal ink cartridge.
- If the condition prevents the system from completing the job, for example "Out of Postal Ink", it provides instructions on how to correct the condition and then you can continue processing the mail.
- If you attempt to process a mail piece whose weight or size is not appropriate for the job class, the system will offer to auto rate the mail piece for you, or provide you with the option of selecting another class.
- If your system produces a poor print. Always ensure that your prints are clear and complete. Poor prints may be rejected by your Postal Authority. If you notice missing lines in the print (see sample below), perform print head cleaning.
