Turning Barcode Auto-Enter On/Off

You can set up your Connect+ so that after it scans in a barcode value and displays it on the screen, it requires the operator to press the Enter key to accept that value. You can do this if you want to be sure that an operator verifies that the correct barcode has been scanned. By default, the system will automatically enter the value as soon as it scans in the barcode.

To enable or disable auto-enter:

1. Select the Settings button on the Home screen.

2. The Settings screen displays. Select System from the list on the left side of the screen.

3. Select Scanner Settings.
4. Select the Barcode Auto-Enter tab. Select the On option button to turn on the Auto-Enter feature; select Off turn it off.

5. Select Done to return to the Home screen.
